Temperatures are climbing. For those who work or play outside, the mantra is, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Our homeless neighbors have few opportunities to cool off, and they don't have easy access to drinking water.
Vine Street Christian Church will again receive a special offering of bottled water on Sunday, July 1. Packs of standard-size (17-24oz) bottles are great, but we also take 1-gallon and 2.5-gallon jugs.
We are grateful our ministry partners at Open Table Nashville make sure our homeless neighbors have plenty to drink when it gets hot on the streets of Nashville.
Please bring a pack or two of bottled water to worship on Sunday, July 1 to help with the effort. Thank you!
And of course you can drop off your contribution to our water offering anytime between now and July 1.
