Hospitality. Betrayal. Tragedy and deep grief... as our hope remains in Christ....
This is what awaits each of us this Holy Week. In a world given to the path of death, Jesus shows there is another way. Please join Vine Street Christian Church in the Sanctuary for the following special worship opportunities.
Maundy Thursday • April 13 at 6 p.m.
The familiar words, “On the night Jesus was betrayed…” will come into focus in this special communion service.
Good Friday • April 14 at 6 p.m. (with singing 30 minutes prior)
There is something about singing in difficult times that especially resonates with the soul. We introduced this service last year and many of you found it to be a moving experience. We will gather at 5:30 p.m. to learn and practice some basic part singing. Then at 6 p.m. we will remember our Lord’s death. We will strip the chancel as part of this service, too.
Childcare is provide in the Children's Wing nursery Thursday (beginning at 5:45 p.m.) and Friday (beginning at 5:15 p.m.).
All services continue Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ in worship!
