Vine Street Christian Church gathered Sunday, Nov. 13 for its annual Harvest Luncheon. New this year as a food drive as part of our worship service, benefiting Nashville’s The Little Pantry that Could. This local ministry helps neighbors stock their shelves with items they particularly need.
Immediately after worship, folks made their way to Fellowship Hall for the luncheon, a turkey & dressing meal catered by Copper Kettle. More than 100 people shared food, conversation, prayer and song. It was also an opportunity to honor Jeff Miller, who was named the 2016 Steward of the Year. Official Board Chair Stephen Moseley recognized Jeff for his commitments to church leadership, local outreach and children’s education.
God is faithful, and for Vine Street Christian Church it’s been a rewarding year of being faithful to God!
