Romans 13:11-14
To me this scripture acknowledges the vices of us as humans, however God asks us to power through and overcome them. This scripture refers to getting into heaven through your actions but can also be used to help us be gracious and generous with people in our everyday lives, from little things like putting a smile on someone’s face to lending a helping hand, we’re reminded that we do this not for the ultimate goal of reaching heaven but because it is what spreads joy in our world.
